To get started
Call, email, or book a free phone consultation online. If you’re ready to get started, go ahead and book your initial session online.
Tools you need
Reliable internet, phone/laptop/tablet, email address, headphones (optional).
Setting
Choose a private and quiet setting where you feel comfortable carrying out your appointment.
Consultation
Book your free 10-minute phone consultation. The consultation gives you an opportunity to discuss your needs and to ask me questions. If you believe we are a good fit and you’d like to work with me, then we can arrange your initial session. You’ll receive a link to the client portal with access to complete consent forms. You’ll also be asked to fill out a couple of questionnaires. These need to be completed prior to your initial session.
Guide to using the Client Portal
Initial session
You’ll receive a link 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We will connect face to face via a confidential platform. This will be a session in which I gather information regarding history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. After this session, we will be able to dive in deeper.
Therapy
This is where the healing process begins! I’ll be guiding you through honoring your story, sitting with your emotions, and creating a healthier relationship with yourself and others. Though everyone’s needs may vary, I normally recommend starting therapy weekly. Throughout the therapeutic process we will assess for needed frequency of treatment. When appropriate, we can reduce to bi-weekly or monthly sessions. As you meet your goals, our journey together will come to a natural end.
